Billy Fan Mailbag?

Not that Billy wouldn't already know that he is adored since this forum (and many others) exists...but since there is no longer any way (at least none that I know of, which isn't saying much...) of sending Billy fan mail, would you consider a place where we could drop Billy a line or two of thanks, encouragement, and anything that's nicey not drooly, precioussssss?  (Of course, after the rest of the necessary construction is finished and if you're ready to expand the place).

I don't know that he would ever come to read anything, but many of his fans would like to say hello and keep up the great work (including this one)!!!

I like the idea, Elrawien! Sort of like a chatterbox, where a fan could drop a quick note just in case he ever does want to have a look. Even if he never sees them, we'll know they're there if he wants to.

I like the idea.  I get the feeling that Billy isn't exactly...how shall I put this...internet savvy.  What about if we did this, but printed it out once a year or so and had someone hand it to him?

What a great idea, Sweetie! I hear Billy is trying to learn more about computers.   Now who does he know that's computer-savvy? It's still a grand idea, anyway. It would be so easy for him to get a yearly update from the faithful, so I like it.

Well...I do know that billy goes online.  However, whether or not he'd actually come here is a different story.

If I were billy, I wouldn't want to read about myself.  I think it'd be too weird.  But that's just me.

I say, go ahead and start a thread in The Press Room (so it's currently called).  We can discuss later how to get billy to see it (whether we print it out, and send it to him, or whatever).

I will also note, that please try not to keep a conversation with each other in the thread.  I think we should delete the posts (or request that you edit them) if you're talking back and forth with each other.  There's a whole forum just for chatter!  Let's let this one thread be to him.

Great idea Pipsie! And yes, the letters should be to Billy and let's chat to each other elsewhere. Where does Billy's birthday wishes get put?

I think for the moment, we should just have one thread with birthday wishes included.  

The reason I say this is twofold:

1.  Most likely people will be saying the same thing in both threads with the addition of 'happy birthday' (or some variation therein)

and

2.  If Billy did actually find this site, he'd only have one place he needed to go to get all his salutations.  Let's not confuse the poor internet disabled man!
